On Sunday morning 7/26 our neighbor discovered water coming from the meter box and pulled the cover to investigate. Fortunately for him it wasn’t his water meter but ours instead. Someone recommended Ryan O’Niel and we left him a message. On Monday 7/27 we received a call and were told the earliest Ryan could come out would be Thursday 7/30 or the latest Friday 7/31. We couldn’t wait that long without water I asked if they would recommend someone else. They suggested Strickland Plumbing. We called them and their availability was slightly better but Wednesday 7/29 was the earliest they could come out provided the jobs ahead of us completed on time. I asked them who they would recommend and they said Brown Plumbing. I called Brown Plumbing and Dan answered the phone. He said he could have someone out to our house possibly by 1 PM CDT. I received a call from the technician Chris to say he was on his way and text messages to confirm this as well. Chris arrived when he said he would and began looking at the water meter. Chris fixed the problem and notified Birmingham Water Works that the meter is broken and caused this leak to happen. The water was restored and Chris Coffin did a great job. I highly recommend Brown plumbing if you need help in a timely manner.

I met DJ AND TRENT AT A SERVICE STATION ON 280 yesterday and asked them to help a young girl get her keys out that she locked in her trunk. They worked tirelessly until they were able to get them out. I can’t tell you what gentlemen they were. It took along time and much effort on their part, but they got the job done and I would recommend them to do their job as well as anyone in their field! Thank you so much for all you did!!😊

I just want to say that Brown E.P.HVAC are the most exceptional contractor I have EVER had do ANY service at any home I’ve lived in.
They are very courteous, professional, prompt, reasonable and HONEST!
I was given the price of the service call the day prior to the tech coming out, and it turned out that my HVAC issue was a very simple fix.
The service tech, S.B was clean, professional, thorough and completely honest about my issue. He made the quick, easy fix, and I was only charged for the service/diagnostic fee.
I would HIGHLY recommend Brown to anyone needing ANY of their services.
Oh, by the way, if you DO need their service for any of your HVAC, plumbing, electrical issues, don’t forget to ask them about their maintenance service plan! I would highly recommend considering their maintenance service plan. I’ve never been offered a maintenance plan as inexpensive, comprehensive and well worth the low cost.
If you are reading this review, please take my word for it; I had a 30 year construction career, and Brown would have been a perfect fit for each and every one of my projects.

I had a 20-year-old, 50 gallon water heater tank that was leaking. It was installed in a small closet right next to an HVAC system. I had two plumbers come out from another company and tell me that there was not enough space to remove the tank unless I had the HVAC removed first. Since this is July in Alabama, I wasn't willing to take the A/C out. Instead, I cut the door frame on one side to make a couple more inches of space. Then another plumber came out and said that the coolant and gas lines to the heater would still have to be cut. No thanks. Finally, I got in touch with Brown, and they sent Edgar out to do the job. He got straight to work and after cutting just the A/C drain line out of the way, he got the old tank out with just a little elbow grease, right around all the other lines. Edgar also made sure that my new tankless water heater got installed perfectly. He was professional and very knowledgeable about his trade.
For this job, I also needed an electrician to run new wiring and add new circuit breakers into an old panel. Lucky for me, Brown also has electricians available, and I got to meet Jerome. He is punctual, friendly, and hard-working. He started his work before the plumbing got started so that everything would be ready to go once the new heater was in place. He did great work, and even helped with the heavy lifting when it wasn't even his part of the job.
I highly recommend these two, and I will be calling Brown again for future plumbing and electrical work.
