Ate dinner here on a Friday night. It was busy so there was a little bit of a wait. We waited at the bar. The restaurant was packed. Our drinks were very good from the bar. Our food was good as well. This is a nice place and it seems to be popular. You should definitely give it a shot.

For my first visit, it was girls' night. One of my friends suggested this and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the food, the fellowship and the ambience. The waiter seemed possibly new. He misheard a lot of what we requested or asked for. He was good and will hopefully get better.
We want to do it again next month. The dishes we chose ran the gamut of the menu. If you're thinking of visiting, yes! Do it.

I ordered a medium cooked classic cheese burger with fries. Good cook on the fries, bad cook on the burger. I had blood dripping all over the plate and could only stomach to eat 1/3 of the burger. This was my 1st time visiting this restaurant. Was hoping they would be spot on and I could return with my family. That's a hard pass. Seems like 2 of the cooks, that I watched, was more interested in the attractive woman just outside the door. More than doing their job correctly. At this time I cannot recommend this restaurant, for the price. Server was great and atmosphere was nice.

Egg shells in the devil eggs was kind of a turn off. A filet mignon that's chewy. You should not have to saw it with a saw like wood.
A Filet Mignon is not chewy and you don't have to saw it.
Photo is how it should look. Yes I cooked that and yes it's a Prime cut. If your going sell Filet Mignon it should be prime not choice cut.
I've been at several J.Alexzanders and really have not had the type of experence as I have at this place. Rude people not the people that work there. But the customers if you can call them that.

We made reservations for 6pm on February 4, 2026, for the 4 of us. We arrived on time and were seating by the very nice hostess. The restaurant was clean and the all-around atmosphere was very appealing. Within a few minutes our waitress Dee arrived, and the night couldn't have been any better. She was pleasant, very pretty, offered suggestions, and didn't seem to have any issues with slight modification of our meal. I ordered the salmon and it was absolutely delicious. We were all pleased with our meal. What a great night out with family from out of town and Dee made the night so much better. Dee thank you so much for all you do.
