Its a busy and loud Mexican resturant. The food is great. The service is outstanding. If you go on a Friday night, you will prob wait 20-30 minutes for a table. Its good so go now.

After seeing the plates around me and ordering guac that came out looking and tasting like green sour cream, I didn’t even bother trying anything else. This is the worst americanized “Mexican” food in Birmingham. The salsa was typical. Service was fine. Nothing special but nothing bad either. Atmosphere was unremarkable.

Worst of the worst. Food was nothing close to authentic. Server was a total jerk even before we were sat in his section. Was told that most customers like the gringos don’t eat tortillas with their steak. I ordered carne asada. It comes with tortillas anywhere you go. But he also said, we must be used to restaurants that cook better than them and they’re really busy. I’ve never had a server so argumentative in my life. I will never and I mean never eat here again. I will make it a point to help people understand there is way better food elsewhere where the company wants the business. The manager on duty did zero to help the situation. Whoever the owner is, you should reconsider the staff on a Tuesday evening 05/02/2026. The face of your establishment is sad.

We stopped by for a late lunch and found the place empty. So we sat at the bar. The service was good and food delicious. We’ve been here many times over the years and have found they consistently do a good job in the kitchen. Weather permitting they have some tables outside that we have enjoyed in the past. Great margaritas too.
We will be going back.
