Great, TINY spot! Met my husband there for lunch. Thought 130pm might be late enough to miss the lunch crowd. Parking is tight. I ordered the Butter Burger & he got the Conecuh dogs. Food is rich and filling! I couldn't even finish my burger (which is SUPER messy, but, very delicious)! The collards were a little salty for my taste, & I didn't see a single piece of Conecuh in there, but, maybe that is just a me thing. Server was still busy with all of us that seemed to show up at almost the same time & decide to eat on the patio area. Only atmosphere thing that was a bit off was not on the restaurant, but that someone decided the whole patio needed to hear their Facetime call with a toddler. 🙄
Anywho, food was great & we'll be back another time to try more on the menu.

So glad we gave this place a chance! Food was great and staff was so kind! Personal favorite was the chicken fingers with soco bbq sauce - it’s made in house and SO good. While parking is kind of shotty, it does indeed build character & the food makes it worth the hassle.

When I walked up to the door, they opened it for me and greeted me. Fantastic service all around. Great bacon and Swiss burger. The brussel sprouts were fire! Watched part of da Bears v Lions game. Awesome environment. Top notch restaurant.

Came here for the first time last week, and everything was awesome!! Some of the best fried pickles I’ve had, and that Cahaba Cajun burger is fantastic. Can’t wait to go try the rest of their burgers😋

Joanie was our server and bartender and was great, so was Heather. We were staying the night in Birmingham and have wanted to try Mudtown and finally got to. The shrimp and grits were excellent and I'm eating the rest for breakfast. We're from Louisiana so very hesitant to try cajun/creole dishes outside of Louisiana, but their original chef was from Louisiana and they still use the recipe, so I tried it and I am very happy I did. The staff was personable and we'll definitely be back! Picture is of my leftovers...... should have taken it when it was full. LOL
