Muy name is Chonta Craig I'm making you aware that my service request remains incomplete and my unit isn't operating efficiently or effectively since the repair on July 21, 2026. My energy bill has doubled in cost because the residence temperature isn't stabilizing according to the temperature settings and the unit is constantly running. The Installation Team arrived on August 12, 2026 unaware that the system hasn't been cooling properly since the repair on July 21, 2026 to complete state required modifications that won't increase the efficiency of the unit. It seems as if the Evaporator Coil purchased doesn't fit the mini split properly as the previous one did and is know to defect quite frequently. It's a possibility that there is other extenuating factors for the unit malfunctioning being a partial or incomplete diagnosis. Since the technician left on August 12, 2026 my unit has just reached 69 degrees at 5:45 AM and the temperature has been set at 64 degrees since the technicians arrived yesterday. I woke up at 3:45 AM and the temperature was 70 degrees in the residence. Please review the images from the thermostat taken on August 13, 2026 at 5:45 AM. (View Image) Can some let your technician redo the installation with a proper fitting coil and compressor? I've paid $2060.00 for absolutely nothing at this point my unit hasn't been fixed and not one state modification has been made. Spoke to the supervisor Tristan on 08/13/2026 after their technician John confirmed that the unit wasn't cooling properly and hasn't been since the repair on July 21, 2026 whom advised me my unit is working properly if it's running nonstop and is maintaining a 70-78 Degree and above temperature since the repair. Unfortunately he won't permit his technicians to properly complete the repair until he completes the 4th diagnosis on 08/19/2026. He refuses to listen to his skilled technicians that were sent on July 24, 2026 and August 12, 2026 whom repeatedly told him the unit isn't operating efficiently. The state modifications and pan that was paid for on July 21 2026 with no modifications rendered has nothing to do with the unit not working properly.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this company.
From my experience, the customer service team gave the impression that they simply did not want to help.
Two weeks (during the Alabama summer heat) went by before I finally received a quote, and throughout that time I couldn’t get clear answers to even the most basic questions.
For example, I asked:
* “If I choose your company, when could you start the installation?”
Their response: “I don’t know. After you pay, we’ll order the equipment and schedule it.”
* “What kind of guarantee do you provide if you replace my HVAC system?”
Their response: “I don’t know what you mean by that.”
I was about to spend well over $5,000, yet they expected me to commit without being able to provide a timeline or clearly explain their workmanship guarantee. This conversation took place after waiting two weeks just to receive the quote. It also came after several frustrating phone calls that were just as unhelpful, but describing every interaction would take several pages.
To be clear, this wasn’t a complicated project—just a straightforward residential HVAC replacement for an approximately 1,100-square-foot home.
About 24 hours after I told them I had decided to go with another company, a much friendlier representative called to follow up. I explained the experience I had and why I chose to look elsewhere.
I then contacted another HVAC contractor. They were able to schedule the installation within 48 hours for virtually the same price. They also included a 3-year labor warranty, meaning they would come back and fix any installation-related issues at no charge, in addition to the standard 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on the equipment.
At the end of the day, it’s up to us as consumers whether we settle for companies that make us feel like a nuisance or support businesses that value our time, answer our questions, and appreciate our hard-earned money.

Joe from Myers Comfort Specialists provided excellent service when he came out to repair the wiring issue with my air conditioner. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful.
He quickly diagnosed the problem, clearly explained what was wrong, and repaired the wiring efficiently. What stood out most was his honesty and trustworthiness. He took the time to answer my questions and made sure I understood the repair without trying to upsell unnecessary services.
It's not always easy to find someone you can trust with HVAC repairs, but Joe gave me complete confidence that the job was being done correctly. Thanks to his expertise, my air conditioner is working properly again.
I highly recommend Joe and Myers Comfort Specialists to anyone needing HVAC service. If I ever need heating or air conditioning work in the future, Joe will be my first call. He delivered the kind of professional, reliable service that every homeowner hopes to find.

Myers' technicians are always prompt and courteous. Tristan was kind and clearly explained his findings and the needed repairs. My only negative is the 3.5-4 business day delay for the service call to occur from the initiation of the ticket. Maybe more service technicians are needed?

We worked with Myers through another company. Myers worked diligently to get the other company to order the correct parts for the replacement of the AC system. They installed our AC sooner than they originally told us. The installers were great. They let us know when they were on the way to us and worked diligently until it was all done.
