They have a different special every day and night but Saturdays, I believe. I've had the Fetticini Alfredo and Chicken Parmesean served with a side of spaghetti and marinara. The mozzarella was bubbling hot. You get fresh baked bread, a side salad, and a drink for $6.95. You CANNOT beat that for delicious food in this economy. The Fetticini Alfredo has tender pasta and a delicious cheesy sauce.
You can not go wrong eating here. Everything is pretty delicious and served fresh and bubbling hot. They've changed their hours and are open much longer than before, so don't miss an opportunity.
Friendly service, no matter how busy it is, and sweet tea is just right. I could eat here all the time.
My overall impression is a small town atmosphere and delicious food, and it's always made to order.

They do not answer the phone. When they do you will wait over an hour after you get there and sometimes your order will be ready on the counter but they ignore you. The food is fabulous if you can order it. They need better help. The kids working there don't work.

I am so disappointed!!! I ordered the grilled chicken dinner and what came out looked like a meal you would expect if you were in the hospital and was being severed food. I take it back I've seen better food in the hospital. The chicken was very dry, luke warm and seasoned like someone spilled the container of pepper on it. The vegetables must have been taken straight out of the refrigerator after being stored there a couple of days because they were ice cold and lacking any flavor. The salad looked fine until you dumped the vinaigrette jello on it. Because the dressing is so cold it congealed. Horrible Horrible!!

Today at 5:00pm when we walked in, they ran out of dough, after having our order for 15 min they let us know. Although there were people that came in after we had already placed our order and also ordered pizza, but they got their pizza.
So we decided to order the special and Alfredo instead. While we are sitting there, we are watching other people that have walked in 30 minutes after we did get their pasta and their food. We did not get our food until 6 o’clock and decided to take it with us. People with kids know how hard it is to keep it a two year-old entertain while sitting at the dinner table with no food. And no, we are not the type of parents entertain our child with a tablet.
We didn’t get a comp, we didn’t get an apology or anything and we were having to wait like that. I don’t know if the problem was management, the cooks or if the waitress didn’t put our food in when she was supposed to. But if you’re an Italian place, who has tons of pizza options, you should never run out of dough, especially 3 to 4 hours before you close.
This is the first time we have been back to Papa Sal‘s in years because they had terrible service prior. Glad to see that nothing has changed, but yet they decided to expand the restaurant. When they probably should have focused on their service and their cleanliness of their restaurant because man that place is nasty

We just moved to Pinson and have been working on remodeling our house! We needed a place to sit down and eat that was close by so we picked Papa Sal's. What a cool little place to eat and it was delicious. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Alfredo with a sode salad and bread and I ordered what I thought was a personal size buffalo chicken pizza.
When we got our food we were shocked at the portion sizes and the food was delicious. The Pizza was great! A little doughy and not super crispy! My girlfriend loved the Alfredo and the Italian dressing on her salad was so good we bought 16oz of it to take home. Everything tasted fresh and the prices were great. We plan to have many more nights eating at Papa Sal's.
