This is the worst Biriyani and chicken 65 I ever had in US. When I give feedback they say this is best selling item chicken tikka biriyani & chicken 65.
That one star is for the samosa chat only. May be curry, naan might be the one reviewed.
But never ever blindly order chicken 65 since it’s not even like chicken.

We had a fantastic meal at Sitar Indian Restaurant in Birmingham! My dad ordered the Lamb Biryani, and I went with the Lamb Tikka Masala at spice level 3 , it was rich, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My mom tried the Sitar Biryani (a mix of chicken, lamb, and shrimp) at spice level 4 definitely brought the heat, but she absolutely loved it.
We also shared the onion & garlic naan, which was warm, fresh, and the perfect complement to our dishes. And the mango lassi? Smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweetness to cool things down.
Service was excellent and the ambience was nice

This place is so awesome. I will say for Birmingham this is one of the most delicious food places they have. Also, it is some of the best Indian food I've had and this is coming from a 26 year old Bengali who is well travelled, from Houston and living in Texas, borin in America, but LOVES spicy food and has been to Bangladesh before... so I think you can trust me when I say you need to try this place

I've eaten at Sitar for a couple of years now. I love the food here! Always so good! Now, I like spicy food. Even very spicy. I use habanero sauces at home. I've even asked for hotter sauce at a wing place and was told there was no hotter. Dining in at Sitar a couple of years ago, I asked for chicken tika masala "Indian" hot. The server was sceptical, but agreed. It was delicious. And HOT! Just about my limit. And very tasty. Nothing has been quite as hot since. Tonight, I ordered lamb vindaloo max hot. Now, I'm not complaining, I asked for it. But GOOTLWDAMERCY! There shall be heartburn unto the seventh generation of my descendants! Whoever's cooking tonight ain't playing! Very, very tasty. But it would peel the paint off a house!
Would highly recommend, but be careful.

Great place to dine in, or grab take out. Friendly service, and delicious food. I ordered medium spice, and it wasn't hot going down, but it was later that evening!
