One of the few mom and pop places left to eat.and enjoy personal services. Food was great and there was so much to choose from. Come check.it out , I think you will agree it's a nice place 😉 😀. Pricing, along the same.lines as other eating places, but, I would much.rather come to a restaurant like this than a chain stores. There is more trust that what you get to eat is correctly done! We ate here again and it was great 👍 👌. The meats and the vegetables are given in large portions, we couldn't finish all of it! Come and try it 😏

Stopped here while traveling and was genuinely impressed by the warm, family-style atmosphere. The food selection was great, with plenty of options to choose from. I tried the salmon croquette for the first time and it was delicious. The vegetables were fresh and well-prepared too. It felt like an authentic local dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re passing through!

traveling down I65 always looking for a locals restaurant to try out. Stumbled upon the White House on a Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving you just find a seat and take it. They have a daily cafeteria style service that seems to be very popular with abundant size servings. we opted for the menu. Had the hamburger steak with grilled onions a baked potatoe and piece of garlic toast. it was preceded by a fresh salad and crackers. The servers are delightful and very attentive. The food was excellent and was a very large portion size. The only thing I regret was we weren't staying close because with that much food I needed a nap.

First time eating here, but will not be the last!! Great atmosphere, friendly regulars and a great staff that were eager to show us the ropes of this place. I highly recommend trying this place out if you love a good meat and veggies style establishment. My wife ordered the chili with grilled cheese and it was amazing!! Like I said, we will be coming back!

Any time I head south on 65 I know where I'm planning on eating. I found this little gem a year ago on my way to Children's of Birmingham with my daughter. I have since been there about 4-5 times. It is like eating at your mamaw's on a Sunday (every day). I get the chicken livers almost every time I go and switch up my sides. They are delicious! The service is friendly and they make you feel at home. I love eating here, it's such a treat❤️
